Quilt show information

Last night at the monthly meeting, Rose gave out quite a lot of information about the quilt show, what needs to be done when and by whom. It was a lot of information to take in all at once, so I’m going to post it all here.

-sign up with Joy L. joychristinelove at gmail dot com
-still looking for some ladder climbers and rack assemblers for set up on Thursday, starting at 10am and take down on Saturday after the show.
-if possible, do not bring a purse with you. Each volunteer will be loaned a neck pouch to wear during their shift. It will hold a phone, credit card, cash etc. These must be turned in at the end of the shift for someone else to use.
-if you have your own white gloves, bring them along
-please wear your guild name badge
-quilts must be in CLEAR plastic bags, not pillow cases or special bags and definitely not in green garbage bags.
-the quilt must have a label with your name clearly marked
-all quilts must have a hanging sleeve for display purposes. Instructions can be found in a tutorial here.
-other quilted items, i.e., challenges, old workshop display items etc. will be receipted.
-please bring in the 35 year challenge pieces as well.

-a receipt will be issued for each quilt as proof of ownership. The receipt MUST be returned in order to pick up your quilted items. If someone else is picking up your entry(s), your receipt MUST accompany that person. NO EXCEPTIONS.
-all goodies should be in sealed, disposable containers. They may be dropped off on Thursday during set up, 10-4, or Friday morning.
-they can also be dropped off when you come in for your volunteer shift, if necessary

Thank you, everyone, in advance, for all your entries into the quilt show, and all your help for the running of it.
